Police are searching for a suspect in a fatal shooting that happened overnight in Bridgeport.
A 32-year-old man was shot multiple times at around 1:15 a.m. Saturday, July 27 at the intersection of Newfield Avenue and Revere Street, Bridgeport Police said.
The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A large crowd formed after the shooting and was dispersed by patrol officers, police said.
Detectives worked throughout the night to process a crime scene and are working to establish a motive.
